It's been way too long since I was on here and active in photography. But I've been asked to do the photos of my husband's cousin's daughter's wedding in a couple weeks. Naturally, I thought of DA for lessons on how to improve my skills! So, I'm going to be submitting some new stuff I will do to help me re-learn the camera, and we got the t4i now. So, I'm excited! Figured out the slave flash today and have been working on lighting and angles of light since it will be an outdoor wedding at 3pm with pictures to follow the ceremony. We might have strong light at that time. See you in the groups!

Well, I said I was back and then disappeared. I've started and lost a job, moved, started modeling and acting, and just been dealing with life in general. I'm back on for more learning and to also look for things that interest me as a model. Share away what you think is interesting and might be a good thing for me. I'll share an updated photo of me so you can share what you think might work for me, when I have it from one of the photographers I'm working with.

Well now. Let's see where to start ....

Surgery went well but I broke the camera. So we finally got one, just a couple weeks ago, and I've been taking Karate since I was released from the surgeon.

A lot has been going on. I'm also working full time so I'm not going to be going at it as much as I used to but I do plan on learning this nifty new Canon Rebel EOS T4i thingy! Wow is it cool! Can't wait to get back into photography. I've missed all the groups and assignments very much and am glad to be back.

Now, on to assignments!!!

I had my surgery on my spine and also on a hernia I didn't realize I had that the general surgeon had found during my pre-op visit with him. I see the general surgeon tomorrow for my post-op and saw the spine surgeon this past Tue for that post-op and all is great! I cannot believe the difference in how smashed the disc was with hardly any room between the L5 & S1 vertebreas. But there's plenty of room now! And a bunch of hardware in my spine! I'm happy I can drive again and am able to lift a little more. I can't push/pull/lift more than ten pounds yet and see the spine surgeon again in the beginning of Jan. But I can start looking for an office job again and re-open my unemployment. My mobility is getting better so long as I wear my brace at night too so I don't wake up in pain. I walk like I'm prego with this brace! LOL. But all is going well and I'll be starting to take photos again any day here now. Hope to see you in the groups soon!

Well, we got the camera fixed, finally. But I've been in such pain because of a herniated disc that I don't have the energy or strength at times to do anything but catch up on house cleaning and taking Brandy for a much needed time out in the woods. Well, now I'm headed for back surgery on the 15th of this month. I have tons of appts next week before the surgery since they have to go in the through the front and I'll need a brace for after the surgery. I'll out of commission for quite some time. I'm not even sure how long but my dad was out of commission for three months with his but it was bit different from what I'm having done so I just don't know when I'll be back. Please keep me in your prayers and wish me a speedy recovery and for two surgeons with excellent hands guided by God. Thank you and have fun on dA!!!!
